The Personal Tracking Unit (PTU) allows consumers to remotely track the position of a loved one, a pet, assets, or any other important item in real-time through the Internet. The PTU combines the technology of global positioning satellites (GPS), cellular
phone communication, and the Internet in a compact device that upon request can transmit its exact location in seconds to give the end-user a complete solution.

How it works
The personal GPS unit not only serves as a tracking device through GPS
satellites but it also works as a two-way communication device connected to
our monitoring service. With the headphones and microphone that come with
the unit, you will be able to communicate with others in your time of
distress.

If you ever find yourself in a situation where you need assistance but
cannot be bothered by the two-way listening and talking device, you can
press the SOS button, which is one of three buttons on the unit. The SOS
button is strictly to be used for emergencies only. If you press the SOS
button, an emergency response team is immediately set into action.
